Litigation
Litigation is the term given to that part of a solicitor’s practice which deals with contentious issues and disputes which may ultimately require court representation.
John Lanigan & Nolan have earned a reputation for care, efficacy and professionalism in its dealings on behalf of its clients in general litigation. Our solicitors will advise their clients on how best to pursue the resolution of their dispute and should it be necessary can initiate and defend proceedings in the District, Circuit and High Court. We also represent employers and employees in the Employment Appeals Tribunal.
The same due care and attention is given to all litigation matters whether our clients are suing for faulty goods or for a large commercial contract. Sometimes the subject matter requiring resolution does not solely seek monetary damages (e.g. A trespass case) and we have a vast experience in dealing with these matters (generally known as equity matters)
